“Samini and Sarkodie: A Collaboration No More: Why the Reggae/Dancehall Artist is No Longer on Good Terms with the Rapper”
Reggae/Dancehall artist, Samini, has made it clear that he is not on good terms with rapper Sarkodie. A question from a random Twitter user has sparked a heated response from Samini, who stated that there is no chance of him ever collaborating with Sarkodie again.
On Monday, January 23, a fan had asked Samini on Twitter if there was any possibility of him working with Sarkodie in the studio once more. However, Samini replied with a strong negative, stating that he has no intention of asking Sarkodie for a verse and even if Sarkodie asks him for one, he would not be interested.
Samini went on to explain his reasoning, stating that Sarkodie is not a reliable collaborator and has a tendency to keep people waiting for his services until they give up. He even accused Sarkodie of delaying his project in the past.
“Not sure I’ll need a verse from Sark but if he ever does need one I’m not interested and that’s facts. He knows this himself. 😂😂😂. )y3 Alo sometimes and I don’t play that. Yes or no be problem for am so e go slow you and your project go dull …, he did it to me on burning EP,” Samini tweeted.
Furthermore, Samini stated that he has no personal issues with Sarkodie, but he does expect an apology from him for not responding to his messages and keeping him waiting.
“I got nothing against Sarkodie and he knows it. He also knows that he Dey owe me personal apology for the blue ticks after having me send 3 tracks and he choosing 1. After asking me if it was a single or an album to which I answered it’s an EP.He’s like coo he’s yet to respond,” Samini added.
In conclusion, it seems that Samini and Sarkodie will not be collaborating again in the near future, and Samini expects an apology from Sarkodie for past behavior.
