Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng, a member of the National Cathedral Board of Trustees, faces a possible three-year imprisonment if found guilty of having multiple identities. This comes as a result of a recent investigation led by North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who has been exposing underhanded dealings in the construction of the National Cathedral project. The punishment for such an offense, according to the lawyer, is a fine of up to 450 penalty units or a prison sentence of up to three years, or both.

The National Identification Authority (NIA), which is responsible for maintaining the National Identity Register, has clarified that there is no name registered as Victor Kusi-Boateng with a birthdate of September 7, 1971. This statement supports the allegations against Rev. Kusi-Boateng and the possible punishment he faces if found guilty.
